Cell Life

All You Need To Know

Have you ever wondered what goes on inside your body? Well, today is your lucky day! All of the cells, tissues, and organs inside you are actually just like us humans. For example, when you cannot sleep at night, your brain cells are throwing a head to toe dance party. Everyone is invited, except those pesky viruses that come and go every now and then. Or when you are munching on a delicious, juicy burger for lunch, your jaws are brutally beating it up so that it could smoothly transcend down. But its journey does not end there, it still has a long way to go.

Cells, they make your body function every single day. Despite that, they can be a little carefree. They love to take cellfies on their cellphones, mingle amongst single cells, duplicate themselves if needed, and their normal necessities. Red blood cells venture through the roadways of the body. They travel in our veins, arteries, and capillaries to supply oxygen to organs. What in the world would we do without cells? Perhaps we should acknowledge them more.

Why Cells Shouln't Fall In Love

Every cell has heard of this story at least five times before. It all started out when a young lad named Redmond Cell. He was making his way down a capillary when all of a sudden he bumped into a cell. Now you may be thinking, it would be normal for cells to collide with each other but this was not any normal red blood cell. It was Redela Blood! She is was the star in many reality tv shows, a superb model, and a fantastic singer. They both locked eyes at an instant and immediately had a connection. Redmond was just a regular blood cell with nothing special about him but Redela saw something in him that no other cell did not.

Redmond and Redela went out and about traveling the whole body together through arteries, veins, and capillaries. They never separated a single time, which is incredible because they had to go through every organ in the entire body. The body is a vast structure and one could easily get lost. But then, something terrible had happened. The flu virus had come to take over the system and the white blood cells were short of soldiers. Redela had been attacked and perished among others. Alas, it was all in "vein".

Life Of The Red Blood Cell

I've traveled long and far. My thousand mile journey through blood vessels have been long and terrible. My whole life has led my to this point. I now travel my last stretch towards the heart through a dark vein road. I grow old. I've carried this blood to its location, only to realize my travel is halfway over. I miss my family, whom I've lost somewhere along my journey. I can only hope they miss me as much as I do, who are also cursed to bear my thousand mile journey as well, perhaps longer than I. I'm lonely. I'm old. I'm tired. I only travel now to my inevitable death.

Surprisingly, I've escaped the great cold war, witnessing the horrible event to occur to my fellow brethren, white blood cells marching to war, and us lowly red blood cells continue to walk out whole lives, only to be bystanders and victims to any and all that pass by, either peacefully or with murderous intent. My journey comes to an end, and I am ready.
